NKB baguette 🥖 ready to eat with chicken curry 😋
No knead European bread
315g bread flour
5g salt
15g sugar
7.5g yeast
225ml water
25ml olive oil
Nuts and dried fruits optional
1. Pull all ingredients in mixer bowl or mixer, use a spatula to mix till a dough is formed, dough is a bit sticky. Pat flour on your hands, remove dough and put inside a big bowl and proof for 30-45min till double in size.
2. After 1st proofing, punch the gas out. pat hand with flour and mould/shape to a ball to proof again.
3. After 2nd proofing (30min), pat hand with flour, shape the dough and put on a baking tray and proof for the 3rd time ( around 30min) ( *2-3x proofing help to keep the shape, not flatten.)
4. Dust the bread with flour and score with a blade knife, bake in oven for for 40min at 190c ( with fan on)
( leave a bowl of water at lower rack for tat extra crunchy crust)
